Question:  i bought a 1977 19ft pull with a truck camper. (golden falcon) . it has a wedgewood oven. the burners on top work fine, i cant get the oven to light up or work, it dont look like its ever been used. am i missing a safety switch somewere, or whats going on?

2nd question, the guy i got this from said the heater works but wont cut off, what do i need to replace?   heater as in keeps you warm on cold nights. thank you for any help. Don
Answer:  Don,
To light your oven all you should have to is turn the oven knob to broil and hold a stove lighter (grill lighter) just above the pilot assembly right next to the main burner in the oven. This may take a few minutes if it hasn't been lit in a while. After it lights turn the knob back to pilot on or whatever temp you want if your going to cook. If it doesn't light you could have a dirty pilot assembly, or bad thermostat. As for your furnace, if it lights and comes on but won't shut off I would have to guess the thermostat is also bad on it. If you need anything else on either of these please give me the model #'s and I will have a better idea of what to have you check. I hope this helps good luck and happy camping.
