RV Repair: dometic americana model 2652, cold things, thermistor

freezer works great,fridge cools to about 26-28 degrees to cold things are freezing,is the control board bad,what do you think is wrong,fridge works on gas or 110,also what is the slide panel for in the freezer.thanks Ken Thomas torrington conn 06790.

Ken, Does this refer have any buttons on top to control the temp? If not then it may be that the thermistor is going out or it also could be the board. There is a way to test the thermistor by using warm and cold water and testing the continuity or resistance the thermistor has at the different temps. There is a company named Dinosaur that makes a replacement board for that model that has a adjustment for temp right on the board and gives you more control. It is a model Micro P-711. Also if this is not one of their brand new models and the board is about 5x6 make sure the 2 pin connection in the upper left side is plugged in all the way. This is the thermistor connection.
