Hello Ed, Got Several questions for you
1. I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and I am wanting to install an aftermarket amp and sub
2. I have a factory installed amp under the rear decklid, Can I just run from that or am I going to have to run all new wires for my new amp. I'm a Newbie so I am all ears

Hi Clint.

Sorry for the delay i finnally had a chance to sit down for a little bit.

OK I do not recomend you use the wires from your factory amp, you need to run wires from the battery power wire (FUSED.12v costant), the fuse box or aftermarket radio remote wire (12v Switched), and ground from the chassis (dont run this wire to the negative side of the battery).

If you need a wiring configurations for your subs let me know, just make sure you post the full specs on the subs and amplifier you are going to use.
