RV Repair: 2008 Fun Finder X, fun finder x, fifth wheel

I have a week old 2008 Fun Finder X 189FBS. With the camper unplugged (110) and not hooked to the tow vehicle but the shutoff on it blows the 30 AMP inline fuse at the battery instantly. I used it last weekend with no issues. I am going to call the dealer but would like to figure it out on my own. The dealer is a 2 1/2 hour drive away. Thanks

Todd, Is this a travel trailer or a fifth wheel? Usually a 30 amp in-line fuse is for the front tongue jack. If this is it then there is a short in the jack. If this is not right then you should be able to trace the wire down and see where it goes. Somewhere there is a direct short that is making it blow the fuse. Thanks, Bill
