RV Repair: water leak, roof seal, roof material

Question
i have a 1995 Coachman Catalina that has a leak coming in some where in the front overhead console on the right hand side. Pulled out the vcr and found that the installation was wet towards the front. There was about a quart of water in there. Have sealed the roof with tape on all joints. This is first time for this one.

Answer
Chris, Did that fix the leak or are you still having the trouble? What kind of tape did you use? What kind of roof material does it have, metal, seamed metal, or rubber? Also check the air conditioner and antenna as water can come in there. Plus if you have any max air vents on top see that they are not sealed to the roof. They should have clearance to allow water to get out. Whenever i do a roof seal and want it trouble free from then on I use "Liquid Roof" by Pro Guard to seal it with. It has the best warranty there is as far as I am concerned. Let me know if you fixed the trouble or were asking me what to do next. Thanks, Bill
