Question
27 ft. holiday ramblier 454 chev. engine---I would like thr engine timing @ idle,1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 RPM. Is there a after marker unit that I can buy, with knocker sensor that automatically adjust the timing.

Answer
You are actually asking a Chevy question, I try to limit my answers to RV questions.
Since I am guessing as to the year of your coach, I would also guess it's a mechanical (vacuum) advance distributor that adjusts the timing corresponding to the RPM (vacuum) of the engine.  Your engine adjusts according to the timing curve that is usually regulated by different weight springs in the distributor. Your emissions sticker should tell the base timing at the base idle.  They are different depending on the engine package, the emission standard it was built to, etc.
