RV Repair: speedometer, speedometer, good question

I have a 99 safari zanzibar.  The need on the speedometer has fallen off and is lying in the face of the speedometer.I need to repair.  Is this something I can do, if so how.  If not where can I send it to have repaired.

Tommy, This is a good question since Safari was sold to Monaco. I believe that happened after 2000 as well so the best thing I can say to you is to call Safari and ask them what chassis they were using at the time and the manufacture should be able to get a replacement. I have never rebuilt a speedometer so I can't say it can be done or not be done. Thanks, Bill
