RV Repair: Norcold 323, freezer compartment, yellow wires

Question
I have a 1996 Rockwood pop up with a Norcold 323 fridge in it.  The fridge does not work on either ac, dc, or gas.  The back of the fridge gets hot when turned to gas, but no cooling...what are some things that I should check to fix it?  It also has two yellow wires and two black wires that screw into the control/ignite area...I can't remember which wire goes where...

Answer
Dustin, It sounds to me like the cooling unit has gone bad, especially after telling me it gets hot on the outside. As for the wires if they are the wires that come from the round tube that runs vertically in the back they are the element wires and the black will be for the 110 volts ac, and the yellow wires will be the 12 volt dc wires. But if it is getting hot on the outside and no cooling inside the cooling unit is more than likely bad. Make sure you are level when running it and check the level with a round level in the freezer compartment bottom shelf. You want at least 3/4 of the bubble in the middle. Thanks, Bill
