RV Repair: water leak, water leak, water valve

Question
I have a water leak in my 36' 1996 Fleetwood Southwind. It seems to be in the hoses that go from the fresh water tank to the various outlets. It's bad enough to get the floor wet inside the RV. If I don't run the water inside, it doesn't leak. What's wrong?

Answer
Edward, It sounds to me like it might be your water pump that is leaking. If not that then it may be the water valve in the toilet. That is just about all that should leak when you are using something inside like the toilet. I would check those 2 areas and see what I have then go from there. Remember that when the water is turned on outside there is constant pressure to all the lines. If they are not leaking in that state then it has to be something that leaks when a change occurs. Thanks, Bill
