RV Repair: onan generator, volt meter, transfer switch

Generator runs great not getting any electric. Check fuses they all seem to be on(difficult to see but check both directions. Put amp/volt meter on generator side of converter inside coach no response. I appreciate your recommendations.

It is probably your transfer switch. That will be located in the junction box that the electrical wires from the generator run into. Open that up and you will see that shore power comes in there as well. Make sure that you are getting power to one side of the transfer switch and see if it makes it to the other side. If not then you will need to replace it. It is a good sign that you have power out of the generator. Do you have power when you have the shore cord plugged in? Remember that most motor homes can't use both power sources for the main power. So unplug the shore cord before you do any testing.
