RV Repair: Slide out, hand crank, clutch

My side seems to work hard or is sticking, it will go in and out with the hand crank, but the motor and clutch will slip and not move it all the way in or out with out pushing by hand or using the crank manually.  Do you think the clutch is weak, or motor to small, or does the slide need adjusting?

Chances are that the slide needs adjustment as the manufactures have pretty much fitted the right motor for the slides they build. You may want to check to see that you have fully charged batteries and to make sure that the ground is connected to the coach good. Almost all electrical troubles are associated with the ground. Adjusting slides is not an easy thing to do if you have never done one either, so a repair shop might be the best place to take it.
