RV Repair: eletrical, pace arrow 33, power invertor

Question
I have a 1984 pace arrow 33 ft. motor home. last trip I was plugged inti 110 and someone touched my rv and got shocked. had eletric fence tester with me and all metal outside my rv was hot. unplugged rv and started generator. ran badly but was running air inside then suddenly lost all power to everything run off generator and 110. generator still starts but is running badly. have not blown any circuits that i can see but i am no expert on anything. what obout shutting ogg all circuits and trying to isolate that way or I've heard about a power invertor or divertor that someone says may be the problem. Anyway to check or any ideas. Thanks in advance for your advice.

You have a "hot skin" condition caused by a partial short known as a current draw coming from the hot side of the 110 leg and entering the chassis thru a ground/chassis.
Could be a simple as a pinched piece of romex..some thing that got smashed or a screw tightened too tight. Turn the breakers off at the converter and test again with a meter...not your hands. If the skins still hot with inside brkrs off, then its between the shore chord and the converter...actually it could even be at the converter, if its not hot, turn on the brkrs one at a time till it is, then go to the outlets one at a time in that circuit to see if a wire has come off an outlet and is touching the ground wire.
Be safe...your no good to yourself dead.
