RV Repair: roof leak, aluminum roof, fifth wheel

I own a 1990 coachmen cayilina fifth wheel, I need to reseal the joints where the aluminum roof sheet meets the front and back sheeting, what is good to use? also what is good to use on the trim strips that go down over the front of camper where the sides meet the front?

Hi Rick, There is a special sealant for metal and fiberglass roofs. Different dealers will stock different brands. Dicor make one, and Alfa is another. The Alfa sealant is 5504. (I think) The front trim can resealed with a like color silicone. Good Luck
