RV Repair: Not enough outlet power, volt system, compressor motor

Question
When I plug my air compressor into the wall outlet it doesn't seem to be getting enough power. But when I plug it into the house outlet it powers up fine. What can it be?

Hi Cory, You have a loose connection in your coach 110 volt system. A bad connection can create more resistance and thus the compressor runs slow. (thats bad for the compressor motor) I would start by looking at the shore cord end. Check all the prongs and the cord itself. Then work you way to each "J" box in the coach. Check the connections in the breaker box and so on. Good Luck
