RV Repair: exteriior door to Dometic Refrigerator cooling unit, russ foster, climate in canada

Question
The plastic access door to the refrig. cooling unit is louvered and I believe a poor design. I have a 2004 21 Ft. Bigfoot Travel Trailer....in a thrashing rain storm, water can easily enter the cooling unit cavity through the louvered accesses in the door.  Are you aware of any replacement " doors " that would be better suited to a rainy climate in Canada???

Hi Russ, Is it on upside down? The louvers should face down. Though its not that well suited for a Submarine, it should not leak that much. I have seen manufactures install it wrong.
  I feel that Bigfoot makes one of the best units available on the market, but it may have been Friday 4:55pm when they installed that one. I don't know of any after market doors available. Let me know if it's upside down. If not, we can go into business together and make a better cover. Good Luck
