RV Repair: Onan Generator, solenoid, energize

My Coach has a 1987 Model 6.5 Onan Generator, The electrical choke appears to be wired to the solenoid to only energize during starting, however the choke stays on all the time. Any suggestions?  Thanks

Is the wire to the choke energized all the time? or is it just staying closed?. Those choke pieces are replaceable and it sounds like you've got a badly out of adjustment or defective one. To adjust loosen the two screws and rotate the choke disc until open when warm or partially closed when cold.
