RV Repair: replaceing my heater core in my rockwood rv, ford f 350, rv chassis

Question
hello.

I have a 1992 rockwood rv, it is a Reliant, 30 ft class A built on a ford f-350 or f-53? chassis. the heater core has started leaking and I would liketo replace it and my radiator with a new one. The radiator is not one that the auto part store can identify and neither is it the stock one that normally comes with a Ford f-350, it has a 7.3? v-8, can you tell me what model(s) of what both of these items came from so I can replace them with new ones ?

thank you, Diane

Answer
Hi Diane, I would take it to a radiator specialist shop. You most likely have a 3 or 4 core radiator. It's much thicker than a stock radiator and provides a much cooler running motor. The heavy RV chassis requires a larger radiator than... say a stock pickup would. Moan will make a replacement. They will be able to help with you heater core too. Good Luck.
