RV Repair: Water leak, water leak, leaker

The 2002 Hornet 35FS I recently purchased has had a water leak in the lower corner of the slide out. The carpet gets wet and I noticed water damage on the corner of the couch. I just talked to the previous owner (that bought the camper new)and he told me that this problem was persistant and the dealer could never get the problem solved so he traded it off on a new model. I bought this from the same dealer and they never disclosed a problem with leakage. Now I own a known leaker and would like some advise on why this problem may not have been solved. Hi Dean. This is a common problem with slide rooms. I have battled this type of problem on many different coaches. The fixes are some times extreme, or as easy as adding a piece of blade seal to right area. I would find a Good RV tech in your area to solve this for you. Good Luck.
