MY TV WILL NOT WORK ON THE RV ANTENNA. i HAVE REPLACED THE BOOSTER IN THE WALL BUT DID NOT HELP. I HAVE CHECKED CONTINUITY OF COAX FROM ANTENNA TO BOOSTER IS ALL GOOD. TV WILL WORK WITH RABBIT EARS IN CAMPER. SHOULD THERE BE ANY CONTINUITY AT THE CONNECTION OF THE ANTENNA? HAVE A WINEGARD ANTENNA , THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Answer
Your winegard antenna has a circuit board inside of the head of the antenna (the part on the roof). You should first check for 12VDC to the antenna - from the outer collar of the Coax to the inner pin. If you have good voltage there, you can figure the connection and wall unit to be ok. You must also make sure that you are plugging the correct wire to the right connector on the wall unit (cable to cable, antenna to antenna, and if there is another outlet[ie. bedroom] to the aux).
If all is good there, you will need a new antenna "head". Replacement is quite easy:
Disconnect the coax.
Carefully remove the 2 "e-clips" from the pins and slide the pins out. You may want the antenna in a slightly lifted position.
Remove old head and align the new head.
Install the pins and clips.
Reconnect the coax.
*Always be extremely careful when working on rooftop components. Consider a professional service center that is experienced working on rooftop components.
*Do Not attempt to work on a wet ~Slippery~ roof!
