RV Repair: slideouts, forklifts, sunnybrook

Question
I have a 1995 sunnybrook 31 foot fith wheel. The carpet needs replaced and to do this I need to remove or slide the 12ft slideout past the carpet edge of the trailer floor. Also I need to replace the carpet in the slide out.My question is how do I get the slide out apart to take it off the trailer or whatever I need to do. I do have a shop and a couple of forklifts.w Thanks for any help you may be able to provide  Greg

Without knowing what kind of S/O system it is, I can't really direct you on how to loosen it, but the use of the forklifts will make it easy, once you figure out how to get it loose. I would call Sunnybrook customer service and see if they will send you a slideout schematic, or if someone in their technical department can instruct you.
I would guess that you just have to loosen some bolts, but that depends on what type of S/O system it is.
