RV Repair: Rubber roof repair, rubber roofing, roofing material

Question
My RV a 1995 Dutchmen Royal Classis 36 'is parked permanently in a wooded campground. In May or June a big limb fell on the roof and made a hole about 3 " in diameter. When we came end of july the first time again to the RV and opened up the door it smelled very much after mildew. I did go on the roof and saw the dilemma. Got me a rubber roof repair patch and repaird the hole. The next day when I went to the roof again to check on what I had done I noticed that not only I had that hole which what was fixed allright but on this corner the rubber roofing material did not cling to the roof. And now I am wondering if this will be OK and if not what I could do to repair it.
Any help in this matter I would greatly appreciate.

Answer
Hilde,
It sounds like when the roof was punctured a significant amount of water must have got in before it was discovered.  The water weakened the glue and let the rubber loose.  If this trailer is parked and wont be towed this shouldn't be a problem.  In order to fix it correctly the trim will need to be pulled off and the rubber rolled back and once everything has dried out re-glue the rubber roof down. I hope this helps.
