Saturn Repair: car has no power wont start, saturn wagon, side terminal

Started our 2000 saturn wagon and  put in reverse.  It moved a couple of feet and died.  We have no power. No lights or anything. Won't start.  Makes no noises like its trying.

Hello. First thing you do is grab a hold of each battery cable one at a time and move it side to side. Any movement from either connection means it is loose. Also when you grab and wiggle the positive cable it may just indeed fall off the battery. That is a common occurance with side terminal batteries. If all that checks good. Test the battery. Let me know how you make out.
