Saturn Repair: 1998 Saturn SL2 engine removal, power steering pump, clutch assembly

Question
I seem to be at the same hang up as Douglas,I have my engine supported by an engine lift with all the belt guides, water pump, alternator, power steering pump and AC either removed or out of the way. and there is not enough room to lift the engine out. i see in the bell housing the clutch assembly. but between the bell housing and the fender i am just not getting the room i need to lift the engine out, any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

Answer
Hi Rich

You have to tilt pull and pry...BUT MAKE SURE YOUR NOR HITTING THE FIREWALL OR THE LIP JUST ABOVE THE ENGINE AT THE FIREWALL, YOU CAN DO DAMAGE TO YOUR SENSORS, AND THAT MAY BE WHAT YOUR DOING.

thanx

ERIC

p.s. MAKE SURE NO HIDDEN WIRE HARNESS ARE HOLDING IT IN..I'VE DONE THAT LOL
