Saturn Repair: 97 Saturn no start no spark no fuel, crankshaft position sensor, fuse panel

Question
My neighbor has a 97 Saturn I think it is a sc1, it stalls when he is driving it than after a few hours it starts again, now it will not start at all. I went to hear if his fuel pump was working when you first turn the key on, I did not hear nothing, so I pulled the fuel line off before the filter, turned the key on, no gas flow, so I thought it was the fuel pump, So I sprayed some gas into the intake hoping it would fire up, nothing.  I looked if the plugs had any spark, no spark at the plug.  any help would be appreciated,  Thanks Darren

Answer
I would check the fuel pump fuse in the fuse panel under the hood and the ECM fuse on the passenger side of the center console. If they are both ok, I would take it to a repair shop to see if it is getting a signal from the crankshaft position sensor and if the fuel pump is getting the correct command. Further diagnosis may be required.
