Saturn Repair: Automatic transmission, intake air temperature, saturn sl

Question
My wife lost most of the transmission fluid in her  97 Saturn SL when the fluid filter developed a crack.  After I replaced the filter and topped off the fluid, it now seems to skip shifting into 1st and 3rd gears, consistent with the diagnostic codes that showed on my scan tool; PO731 and PO733.  Another code also appears; PO113 (intake air temperature circuit high input, an emissions related fault).  Is there some adjustment that can be made to the valve body to restore proper shifting or will the tranny require rebuilding or replacement.

Answer
Gwayne,
You need to acquire a scantool with bi-directional controls.  You need to be able to "buzz" the shift soleniods to determine if the problem is electric or hydraulic.  You could also pull the valve body cover and ohm the solenoids.  I would assume that your problem is mostly electrical.  The MP6 and MP7 transmissions were fairly good at keeping together on the hydraulic side.  There are no adjustments to make on that transmission anywhere.  I would check that out first, then get back to me.
