Saturn Repair: Saturn, diagnostic service center, valve cover gasket

Ken,

My 1994 SW2 (105,800 miles)was recently repaired to correct "temp warning" light indicator. Local Saturn dealer replaced leaking radiator and transmission cooler lines. The valve cover was leaking oil, so they also replaced valve cover gasket. The engine oil and filter were also replaced. They cleaned the fuel inductor(?) due to excessive carbon buildup. They replaced the temp sensor assembly ("temp sensor out of range").

Now the "service engine soon" light comes on and stays on after 1 to 2 miles of driving. What else could be the cause? The car seems to be sluggish and transmission doesn't sound right. The engine is also vibrating at red lights, etc. Motor mounts have been inspected and do not appear to need replacement. What could be causing the vibration (not normal up to now)?

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi well sounds like an o2 sensor but u must find out what the codes are do u know how to do this?

NO, I do not know how to find out the codes. Must I take it to a diagnostic service center? Must it be a saturn dealer?
