Saturn Repair: 2000 Sathrn SW2 power window, 10mm nuts, power mechanism

The "auto down" on my wagon's driver's door... doesn't.  It works in the manual mode but no longer does the "all the way down with a firm push on the button" bit.

I've tried to get the door panel off for a look-see but can't get it far enough out to disconnect the rods to the latch mechanism.  And being that tight, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get 'em back on.

Question 1:  Your guess on whether it's the switch or the door power mechanism.

Question 2:  How to get the door panel off.

Hi with that option not working its most likly the switch is worn out.. but the odd time i have seen the motor be at fault..to get the door skin of u have to take the outer panel off the plastis outside with the 10mm nuts on the inside..its not fun.........
