Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): brand new lawnmower wont start

Bought a brand new weedeater lawnmower and it won't start, what am i missing?

Answer
Did you add engine oil?

Did you get brand new gasoline and fill the lawnmower with the brand new gasoline?

If you had gasoline from the last mowing season (last year) it will not burn and the lawnmower will not run.

Is the spark plug wire connected?
