Chapter 2 covers 700 series transmissions.

I normally just fill the transmission when I have it apart but you can fill from either hole.

All Needle bearings are lubricated with E.P. Grease. DO NOT USE BENTONITE on needle bearings. For maximum gear train life use only Bentonite grease on all shafts and gears, Tecumseh part number 788067B.  The manual states the transmission is filled with 12 oz./355 ml grease.
