Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): My John Deere snow thrower project, john deere store, john deere snow thrower

Question
Hi, my friend gave me an old snow thrower since it would'nt stay running for him. I tore the motor completly down and cleaned everything real good.I just have to buy new gaskets for it and I cant find them anywhere. The guy at the John Deere store said they quit making 2 cycle snow throwers and to look online for someone who sells parts for it. I thought this was going to be a quick and fun learning experience, but now I just want to junk it. It would be a huge help to me this winter and I can't give up now.The yellow plastic housing says 20in single stage snowthrower 102cc 3 horse 2 cycle 4300RPM at full throtle TY9503. The carb says Walbro, and I found a little metal plate that looks like a dogtag that says (Engine # 9E 3B518830)I hope you can take this information and tell me where to find new gaskets at.I also need a small bearing and somthing to control the throttle speed. On the carb there is a plastic piece dangling off that controls not the choke but the other thing the carb. Please get back to me if you can help in any way,I take great joy in fixing things like this blower and when the snow comes I WANT TO KICK ITS BUTT!!!
