I have a 2 stage, 4 horse Lawn Boy Snowblower. Serial #180881, Model #1840A. Gal227459. What year is it?

Does the blower have a Briggs and Stratton engine?  If so, the first two digits of the code number indicate the year the engine was made which should be close to the blowers age.

It was made sometime in the 1970's.
