Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): murray 42 lawn tractor, battery cables, lawn tractor

i have a Murray model 42910x92a lawn tractor i have replaced the solenoid but i believe the starter is causing the solenoid to burn out.  what is the part number for the correct starter and also the solenoid  it does not have to be an OEM part   thank you

It's pretty rare for the starter to burn the solenoid.

Do you have a voltmeter to check the voltage drop across the battery cables?  A bad cable or connection creates more resistance which increases current flow and causes electric parts to over hear and fail.
