Question
QUESTION:  I have a 50565x89 Yard King mower.  It has a 205-023B hydrostatic drive on it.  The mower slips and seems to jump when going .  I added some fluid last spring.  The problem has been getting slowly worse.  The belt has been replaced and adjusted.  I pulled the unit out of the tractor.  But I am not quite sure whar I should be looking for.  I do have the cover apart.  Is there information available?   Thanks

QUESTION:  Peerless 205-023B    205-023B8013B0145
I hope these are the numbers you need.  The gears are not broke.  I don'tunderstand how the power is transfered from the motor powered wheel to the other one.  All of those pins aremoving up and down.  What is the diaphram for?

Answer
Hello Again Henry:

The Diaphragm is Part of the Pump. If the Plungers  are Operating, then the Diaphragm or the Pressure Release Valve May Need Replacing. The Pulley Operates the Plungers and the Plungers Operate the Diaphragm which Creates the Pressure for the Hydro.
