I have a 20 year old Toro Model #20106 Recycler that mulches only.

The transmission belt is frayed and is slipping badly and I bought a new belt for $20.00

Can you tell me how to replace it?

If you have a blade brake clutch, I believe you do, you will have to remove some parts to install the belt.

If you go to Toro.com you can click on Customer Service, type in your model number 20106 and download the service manual for free.

Belt replacement is covered in the 88 page manual, section 8.3.
