Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): How to drain gas from a Murray 8/30, engine specs, information pdf

Question
I have my grandfathers Murray 8/30 rear engine riding lawn mower. It has a Tecumseh 10HP 30' deck. I'm trying to rebuild and get the mower back working as a tribute to him. Before I can do anything I need to drain the old gas out of the tank. I have no idea how to do this.
1) Can you please advise on how to drain the gas?
2) Do you know where I can find a manual on how to work on this type of mower/engine?

Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
To drain, dis-connect the fuel line from the carb or fuel tank and drain.

Remove the carburetor float bowel nut on the bottom of the carb to drain the carb.

Is this the manual for your engine?

I do not believe Murray made a service manual for the mower...I've never saw one.
