Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs wont start, briggs and stratton, fuel compression

Question
I have a Briggs and Stratton Model 95902; Type 3107 01; Code 93031605.  The manufacturer is ACE and the base is 20".   I was mowing and ran out of gas.  I filled it up and it will not start.  I took out the carburetor and  cleaned out the carburetor with carb cleaner. The diaphragm looks good and is a year old. When I press the bulb to inject gas in the carb, it squirts out fine. I put some gas on the end of a spark plug but it still will not start. I don't have any way to spray gas into the spark plug hole. It has a new spark plug. The plug sparks when I take out the plug and put the plug against the engine.  It has good compression. I was going to take off the flywheel and adjust the points but it does not have points.  What should I do next?

Thank you,
GB

Go to a Local Wal mart or some other store and buy a can of carburetor cleaner it is usually less than $4.00 Then you can remove the air cleaner and spray some of that in the intake of the carburetor. If it starts then you will need to rebuild or replace the carburetor.

This indicates you at least have fuel in the carb. Now you need to find out about compression.. It should make the plug wet if you get a good stream from the primer.. If you don't have a compression guage, put your finger over the plug hole as someone pulls the starter.. ((Keep the rest of fingers away from the plug wire, or you may test for spark the hard way LOL)). You should feel a good pull & push on your finger & it may even push your finger out of the hole. These engines do not have points all they have is just a magneto, since you said you have spark, fuel, compression it should start as these are the 3 items needed for engines to run.Somewhere something is not correct, I believe you still have a clogged carburetor as these are hard to clean out good. The flywheel is removable on this just like all others, and has a shear key, but these shouldn't be of concern unless you hit something and sheared the key.If need be you can buy a New carburetor for around $28.00. We usually don't try o fix these as labor would be more than the carburetor and they are all plastic and get clogged pretty bad.
