Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda GX31, honda gx31, honda engine

Question
Good Day sir, I have a Honda engine GX31. It is a 31cc 4 cycle engine. The engine would fall on its face after heating up and would also blow blue smoke after idiling for a few seconds. I physically tore the motor down and found the intake valve was crudded up. I could not see any other issues. I lapped and replaced the valves, rings and honed out the cylinder. Now the unit runs great but still smokes if you let it idle and accelerate. Then it stops smoking until the next time you let it idle??? Any thoughts or suggestions

Usually when you see blue smoke that may be coming from the piston wall were a ring may be going or is bad,or the walls are worn.(scraper ring) that don't work well at idle or at low load. One other thing you may want to do is a leak down test, you may have to bring it in to a shop for that unless you have tools like that. Also when you lapped the valves did you check the guides. The reason it is smoking  at low idle may be the rings,I see you did hone the cylinder did you look at the rings? These are just thoughts I am sending you I really don't know what else you did. also if you know  what year it is that will help and the complete model # and spec #'s on the engine.
