Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Riding Mower Brakes, dowel pins, rectangular metal

Question
Hello,  I have a 2004 troybilt lawn tractor model #13AN689G766.  I recently have had braking issues.  A friend and I removed the right rear wheel and removed the braking assembly.  The disk was grooved on the outside and grooved badly on the inside.  The disk had grease on it also.  I ordered a new disk and back puck from troybilt.com. They didn't have the outside pad listed.  The order should be hear in a few days.  The trouble is, I've forgotten how to reassemble the thing. This is my first mower brake job.  The only thing I remember attached to it was a spring and the 2 screws holding the assembly on. If you can give me 3rd grade instructions how I should go about reassembling the brakes, I will be so grateful. Also, should I put any oil or grease back on the pads or other brake parts?  Thanks again for you  time and attention.  Stephen

Answer
The brake pucks are the same part number, 2 are required.

Can you re-assemble the brake assembly as shown in the diagram link:

Do you have two dowel pins in the brake assembly? If so, make sure the small rectangular metal plate it between the dowel pins and brake puck.

Does this parts list diagram help:
