RV Repair: 5th wheel, hot water tank, instant water heaters

i have a 1987 5 th wheel the hot water tank needs replaceing can i go with a elct. 2 1/2 gallon tank and in stall it under the kitchen sink i know i will have to do a littile work but i am a plumber . what do u think thanks pete

    You can go with that but I don't think you will have enough hot water to bathe with.  If you don't want to go back with original you might consider one of the instant water heaters that provide continuos hot water.  If you just want hot water at the sink then the 2 1/2 should work fine.  If your old water heater was gas only you will need to run a new circuit to carry the water heater.  The size wire and breaker will depend on the wattage of the heating element.
