I purchased a used lawn mower & through a friend, I learned that it should've come with a grass catcher.  Well, I have looked ALL over this mower for a model # so that I can order the grass catcher but cannot find it.  I am frustrated at this point because model # information is limited on the internet (surprisingly since the internet is an information SUPER HIGHWAY).  Someone told me to look on the back door (where the grass catcher goes) and I find the following numbers (44x7327) but when I google those numbers, the results refer me to a Murray lawn mower users manual but my lawn mower has a craftsman sticker on it.  When I spoke with sears/craftsman, the rep told me that the model # starts with 917.  I eventually found numbers after removing the cover on top of the motor but when I google those numbers, it comes back to B&S motor, which is what the mower is powered by.  PLEASE HELP me identify the model # on my mower.  Thank you in advance, Jose....

PS It is one of those push along mowers, pull cable start, 6.0hp, 2 in 1 Combo mulch/discharge

Murray made mowers for Craftsman at one point.  The rep is correct that the mower model number should start with a 917-xxxxx if it is a Craftsman but usuaully there is only one sticker on the mower frame with the model number.

Is it possible someone put a Craftman sticker on the mower?

Can you search Google Images for "murray 2 in 1 mower" and see if any of the pictures is the mower you have?

Please attach a picture of your mower, as well as the model number sticker, and send me the  the first two digits of the engine code number from the engine.
