Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 190cc Briggs wont run, briggs and stratton, crank case

Question
I have a 1 year old Craftsman push mower with the 675 series Briggs and Stratton "Easy Start", (No priming bulb), 190cc engine.
It worked great until I abused it by cutting in VERY dusty conditions. When it failed to start I checked air filter, it was beyond bad. Replaced the filter and it did start and run after a few pulls, but then it quit after a few minutes and would not restart.
I sprayed the carb down with cleaner, cleaned the float bowl, replaced the plug, but it did not start. I wired the outer choke valve open and it started, but when I put the filter on it died and would not restart. I pulled the plug and it was wet, it looked like oily gas was on it. I am frustrated and I need to cut my grass! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Sound like the engine ingested some dirt from the air tru the air filter. Your carburetor is probably clogged in the main jet causing it to starve for fuel. I have 2 suggestions #1 Take the carburetor completely apart and clean out all the passages with a good carb cleaner then use  some air to blow out the holes be careful not to loose any parts while you are using the air.
#2 Change the engine oil most likely the dust got inside the crank case and will eventually cause harm to the internal parts of the engine causing a premature failure.
