Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 2-stroke oil mix ratio, stroke oil, correct ratio

Hi, I have a Homelite V1-955 chainsaw. In the specifications it says the Fuel oil Ratio is 32:1. Is this still the correct ratio when using a modern oil. The oil I am using is Carlube 2-Stroke Garden Machinery Oil, APITC Specification.

WOW...that's an old saw!!!  I would stick to 32:1 mix.  It may smoke a little more and produce a little more carbon build up but the engine will run cooler and last longer with the extra oil.

Do you still use the saw on a regular basis?  What size bar is on the saw?
