Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman lawn mower drive control cable., craftsman lawn mower, rear wheel drive

Hello,
I have a Craftsman rear wheel drive walk behind mower. It's Model No. 917.370562.
Do you know if there is an adjustment to tighten up the drive control cable? It seems either the cable or the drive belt has stretched a little.

My bet is the drive belt is stecthed.  There is a pulley cam in the handle but I do not recall any adjustment.  Follow the cable to the transaxle and see if you can loosen the cable hold down screw and adjust the cable.
How old is the mower?  When was the belt last replaced?
