Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 1997 yard machine riding 12hp mower blowes fuses only when I turn off the key, electric clutch, key switch

Hello...my 38" yard machine blows fuses only when I turn mower off... runs fine...I change key switch and diode... checked for frayed wires... can you please help?

Does this happens when you are finished cutting? When you turn off the PTO for the blades it may be surging the PTO Switch check the  electric clutch real good to make sure there is no pinched wires. Also you can disconnect the clutch then try running the mower than shutting it off to see if it happens again.
