Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 25hp Kohler Courage, solenoid valve, hp kohler

25 hp Kohler Courage engine on a 2007 Gravely zt2552xl mower. Motor spec#PS-SV730-0017, ser#3710840143. 193hrs on meter, oil is clean, meticulously serviced. New filters/plugs af/ff/of etc. The motor 'hunts' while at idle rpm or high rpm, load/no load. Although under a load it is barely discernable. Attempted to adjust idle/air mixture screws with little change to performance other than a backfire was achieved. Problem seems to go away with positive choke applied... Too lean? Governor issue? Air leak? Not sure about correct path to pursue, HELP!!!!

the engine is starving for gas it is not getting enough fuel to run. While in idle the low idle fuel port has something clogging the port my guess would be some sort of debris dirt old gas etc etc.You need to remove carburetor and clean it the repair kit is 24 757 45-S  KIT, You will be shocked at the price look up that part # 24 757 45-S $00000.000

Check your fuel pump for out put & check your fuel Solenoid valve Part # 24 757 45-S  REPAIR  KIT

Kohler Carburetor parts 7 carburetors are very expensive on certain engines.
