I have a problem with the engine smoking do to the dust getting into the intake or at least that is my take on it. I had another engine and that is what they said destroyed it. Is there any way to add a snorkel type breather to help or what would you suggest? Thank you

I have very dusty conditions where I live as well. About the only thing you can do is make sure the air filter is regularly cleaned and properly installed. Also, make sure the breather tube is properly connected and isn't cracked or damaged. Check the oil and make sure it is not overfilled, as this will cause smoking as well, and make sure it is changed once or twice a year during the mowing season. Practice regular maintenance habits just as you would on your car, and you will be amazed at how long a small engine can last.
