Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Brushwacker-weed eater, throttle cable, weeding

Question
My brushwacker 32cc from sears (6years ago) runs great. The best"thing" I ever got from sears. Yesterday will doing normal-heavy weed eating the clutch drum started to "SQUEEL", on an off when the engine was in the "IDLE" mode only. It never made/makes noise while weeding. I took it apart and the clutch drum feels a little loose (side-way motion). Put it back together and when the engine is in idle-it squeels about every 10-15 seconds. Not sure what to do. Its either the clutch drum or the clutch. Can you help me out? I have very little cash at this time so a cheap repair is much needed.
I do thank you for your time and efforts.

ALSO: how does one remove the clutch-drum??

Answer
Sounds like the clutch is wearing out. In order to remove the clutch, seperate the shaft from the motor. This includes disconnecting the throttle cable from the carb. the clutch should have an arrow on it with the word "off" above it showing you which way to rotate it. You will need a punch in order to break the clutch free. Once you have done this, it should thread off of the crank pretty easily. I know it may sound complicated, but it really isn't too bad to do.
