Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): blows smoke, main bearing, kohler command

I have a kohler command 17.5hp ohv scotts riding lawn mower I have replaced the coil and spark plug but is still acting up runs fine until it warms up then starts missing and then blows a plume of oily smoke and stalls out

Sounds like you have 2 things going on. First, you may have worn out valves stem seals.
You may have a bad coil,sometimes a new coil may be bad,what happens is when the engine gets hot the coil starts to break down. Second, you also may have worn out main bearing
