Won't start. Noticed a electrical wire that is not hooked
up that is behind where you pull to start it. Can't find any manuals to look at. Anything that you can provide for this engine would be very helpful.

Based on the code number your engine is a 1981 model year.  You could either have points and condenser or electronic ignition.

Can you remove the engine cover and take a picture of the igntion module and let me know how many wires are connected to the ignition module.
