Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): How to raise blades and deck, briggs stratton, tire air pressure

Question
I just bought a 1998 Murray 20,HP Twin/52" Garden Tractor, Model 460777, Type 2277E1, Code 9804135B Briggs & Stratton Twin Cylinder IC.  Engine recently rebuilt and runs very well.
My issue is the cutting height.  Even on the 6, the highest deck setting, it is cutting too low...at 2 to 21/2 inches.  That is good for the immediate yard, but for my 4 1/2 acre field, that is too low.

How can I raise the blades?

Answer
there are two "L shaped" links on the back of the deck that have trunions on them that you turn.  you will need to turn these up to adjust your deck.  Also make sure you have the righ blade, blade adapters and tire air pressure.  Quality of cut issues can all be affected by these things.

Hope this helps
